Some Movies

I know it’s been a long time since I’ve wrote anything.  What can I say, work takes a lot out of me. I feel like I’ve been working every day for the past few months. When I get home I usually just go right to bed. On the bright side of things, next week I only close one day – it’s going to feel great to be on a somewhat normal schedule for once instead of getting so used to closing. Something else was sprung on my though, 3 days of opening in a row because a manager is going on vacation meaning I’ll be opening manager for those 3 days. Ugh.

I also put my notice in at work. My last day is July 28th. As of right now they’re transferring me to a different store. We’ll see. Even with the transfer it’s only going to be long enough to find another job. I just don’t want to be depressed all the time like I am now.

I do have the trip to San Diego to look forward to! I’m super excited, now if stupid shit will stop happening so I don’t have to spend money I don’t need to. Let’s just say I have a cyst on my left hand that has to be cut out. Ugh. And the best part is the hospital “lost” my papers about having the surgery. This means I have to spend a day off going to another hospital and hoping they won’t have issues with their papers.

Since I don’t want to be super boring with this short post – I know reading about what someone is doing at work can become rather boring – I’m going to focus more on the movies I’ve watched overt the past month. I haven’t been watching as many movies as I normally do, due to my weird sleep schedule. I’ve been watching things with episodes because it’s just easier to stop watching those. A movie, it’s kind of hard to stop watching.

While talking about episodes, my boyfriend and I have been working toward finishing up a show.

We’ve been watching Salem. I admit, at first I wasn’t really into it. We’re working on the last couple episodes of season 2 though and it has gotten a lot better. There was only 3 seasons of it, which is kind of upsetting.

The current TV show I’m watching (by myself), is Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Netflix only has a few seasons though and they start at like season 14…which makes me kind of mad. Either way I’ve been watching it. I finished one season in a day and a half, but that was only because I had a couple days off. Getting through it when I’m working isn’t that fast or easy. On days I work I may get one episode done before having to go to bed.

I did watch one episode of a new series. American Gods.

Just by the first episode, I’m not in a hurry to finish it. Don’t get me wrong, it was good but I just don’t think it will be a series I’ll really dive into. I’m going to finish it at some point.

Now when it comes to movies, I’ve just been doing a random watch of movies.
