Hard to believe it’s 2016, isn’t it? It may be just me, but it seems last year just went by in a flash. As 2016 starts rolling I’m already planning the first trip of the year. The trip will be at the end of April and we’re going to Waverly Hills Sanatorium. It’s going to be a weekend trip since the drive will be 6 hours just to get there. I’m super excited over this trip because it’s the first one my boyfriend is going with us on. ^_^ I think it’s going to be a lot of fun.
I know it’s been a while since I really wrote something. Well with worth and everything else going on I just haven’t felt like writing. I know that sounds bad, but I’ve just wanted to curl up and watch movies lately.
I know it’s been a while since I’ve actually wrote something worthwhile. Well, I am still alive. I’ve just been working odd hours and lately I just want to go to bed after work. Saturdays I’m now working nearly 9 hours. For the past two weeks though I’ve had three days off in a row. On these days off my body just doesn’t want to do anything.
When it comes to life, I am dating. I’m dating someone I’ve honestly loved for a while. I adore him and I’m happy for the first time in a long time.
When Stinky was alive I signed him up for a subscription box. He would receive toys, treats and grooming goods in a box every month. Truth be told, he only cared about the treats. Well I signed Ash up for a subscription box. This time I tried a different box, KitNipBox.
October marked the first month for the subscription package. This is a package all horror film lovers have been waiting for. Just the thought of getting four horror films in the mail every month made me excited, I know that! With that, I knew there was a great chance I’d have the films they were sending. I’m sure I’m not the only horror fan who was thinking that while they waited on their package.
Man Crate is a company offering crates for guys, things they’d want to receive as a gift. The guy receiving the crate doesn’t have to have a crowbar to open the box, don’t worry they receive it with the box. Oh and it’s not a box, it’s a wooden crate. No lies though, I want a wooden crate that has to be opened with a crowbar.
The people at Man Crate asked me what I would want to survive a horror movie. After long thought, this post is what I want.
Horror films come in all kinds. You have the supernatural, slasher, “monster”, zombie and the list goes on.
No matter what kind of horror is your favorite you need a few things to survive the movie.
If you were in any kind of horror film, what would you want to make surviving a little easier?
Please don’t think ‘Cell phone, I would want that’. Why? Because you know within seconds of pulling out a phone something is going to happen to destroy it.
I’m going to break it down into the top five items I would want if I was trying to survive a horror film.
First I want to talk about something neat I came across while just randomly looking through things online. You all know I do love a great subscription box and the horror themed one I used to get just didn’t excite me. I think that’s mainly due to the fact I’m not a huge fan of current horror.
What can I say, I love what I grew up with.
