When I first seen the reports of this film giving people bad reactions, it kind of excited me to see it. By bad reactions I mean vomiting, anxiety – things horror films haven’t done in years. With that said, I don’t think this film will ever be considered a “classic” film of any kind.
If you know anything about me, I love films that are just gory and the more blood the better. This film on the other hand, it as not blood or gore really.
I honestly though when I started watching the film that it wasn’t going to live up to what I seen, it started out with something that looked more like a bad found footage film. No worries though, that doesn’t last for long. As the film unfolds though, you realize you’re watching a friend being betrayed by someone who was suppose to be a good friend. That is where the opening of the film – “found footage” – comes back to the screen.
I have seen so many horror films, but to this day, this is the only film that made me want to vomit.
