You Have No Integrity

I’m just not going to take my time to address it. That’s all I’m going to say.

I spent two days searching online for a new cosplay wig. The one I have is just so old. I finally found one Sunday night!

This is what my new wig looks like! I wanted a straight wig, but I couldn’t find one in the price point I wanted to stick to. But even though it has wave to it, I’m happy. I can’t wait to get it in the mail. I should get it sometime during the end of the week.

To celebrate the new wig, this means I’m making a new outfit. I’ve had the dress cut out for a while but I’m finally putting it together now. It’s a JSK (Jumper Skirt) but I’m considering making it so the straps tie behind my neck instead of making it like all the other JSKs out there. ^_^ It’s like 60% finished right now, that’s just the basic construction.

Once it’s totally put together I have a layered ruffle to sew along the bottom of the skirt – the top layer is lace, second layer is sheer white, last layer is solid pink. And I think I’m going to do small bows down the front of the bodice. The straps have a main fabric that is white and I’m going to layer blue, pink and purple on them.

When that is all finished I have to work on the blouse to wear under it. It seems like it won’t be very hard, but we’ll see. I’m going to make a large white detachable bow for it too. ^_^

I’m still searching for a pair of mary jane’s that are not black. But I’ll wear my black ones until I find the perfect pair.

I did finally frame that picture of the RMS Queen Mary that my grandma book in the 50’s. For the background all I did was cut a piece of cardboard to fit the frame. I found fabric and painted the cardboard with homemade mod podge. I laid the fabric down and smoothed it out – that simple! If you do something like this, let the glue & fabric dry 24 hours. You don’t want to mess your picture up.

Even though it’s framed now, I have yet to put a nail in the wall and hang it up. I’m honestly not sure where to hang it.

I started on a couple new paintings last week too. I really haven’t painted in a while and both of these paintings I’m doing are for me. I’m doing two paintings that are lyrics from a couple songs that mean a lot to me.

The first one says ‘Everything gets reduced clarified with truth’. The lyrics are from the song The First Of June by Dandelion Snow. I’m nearly finished with it, I just have a bit left to paint.

The other painting will say ‘There are some things you can’t stop from happening’. Those lyrics come form the song Fireworks Display by Dandelion Snow.

Last night I went with my aunt to the store. It ended up being a like four hour trip.

We did get something to ear first.

The first store was the dollar tree. Sorry, I love that place. I was able to find the book Death On The D-List by Nancy Grace for $1! I’ve been wanting to buy the book but we don’t have a bookstore around here and since my mom wants to read it too I was going to buy the hardback. Yeah, hardback for $1- you can’t beat that!

I did get a cute Valentine’s Day card for J – well funny is more of the word, not cute.

And I found two little books for my niece. One is colors and shapes and the other one is ABC’s. The book has plastic on the pages so you use washable markers to write on the pages and it can be washed off.

Aside from the book the only other thing I got myself was nail stickers – the set I found is skulls.

After that we went to another store and I had to get cat food there…$5 later…Okay I know I shouldn’t complain about paying $5 for cat food because I know some cat food is $10 for a small bag. But these cats are so picky. >_< Usually when my mom buys the cat food she’ll get random generic cat food, I think they just get sick of it after a while. So this time I got them 9 Lives…well I had to get 9 Lives because the store didn’t have anything else stocked.

The last place was JoAnn Fabric. To my great surprise I only bought a few small things! I bought my niece a new Dora book and one of those paint with water books, and I got Jason something funny for Valentine’s Day. ^_^ I’m super glad I didn’t go crazy in there because I always do.

Today I’ve just spent most of the day laying around. I couldn’t sleep last night and I guess I fell asleep around 4am, but I was back up at around 6am…in the bathroom being sick. =_= Ugh. Even after that I couldn’t fall back asleep. I finally did though around 8am or so. I slept until 11am. I ended up getting a warm bath and when I laid back down I fell asleep until around 2:30pm. I think it may have been something I ate yesterday, I still feel just yucky.

I guess the one good thing is I was able to get through nearly half of Supernatural season 3. ^_^ I’m sure if you’ve visited my blog before you know my deep love for that show. I’m just glad to have all the seasons so I can rewatch, which I’m enjoying doing. I’ve seen all the episodes before but it’s just nice to watch them again.

And tonight the new episode of Supernatural was on. I’m enjoying this season a little more now. But I have to say seeing that snookie thing int he previews for upcoming episodes made me want to throw up. Considering she’s on Supernatural though, I hope she’s a demon from hell so they can kill her. Just saying.

Friday night some friends are playing a free show, but I’m not sure if I want to go. I mean it’s been a while since I’ve seen them play so it would be nice to see them play and everything…the cold weather is just holding me off a little bit. I know it’s inside and everything but you still get blasted with cold wind going inside the venue. And deep down inside I was hoping to see Jason this weekend…I miss him so much.

Oh! One last thing. I said something on twitter this morning about it, but would anyone want to do a small, fun candy swap? It’s been so long since I’ve done any kind of swap and I kind of want to do one. It wouldn’t have to be a candy swap, any kind of swap honestly. ^_^ I’d have to look up shipping costs first though.

Where is me bed

Listening To: Vs. World by Curious Volume

Today has been one big sewing day, well for me it has been.

For a while I had been putting off things I wanted to make for myself since I’ve had other things to do. Well since I kind of screwed up on the apron I was making and can’t really do anything until I get more fabric for it, I took the day to work on things for me.

This skirt I’ve had cut out for a while. I even had the panel pieces sewed together, Cherry Skirtbut I had kind of forgotten about it until the other day. I was cleaning up a bit of my sewing mess I had in the living room and found it. I was going to be doing some sewing with red fabric anyways so I figured I’d at least do the hem on it. Well just going the hem turned into finishing the whole skirt. I thought I’d have a bit of trouble with it due to the fact of it being made up of panels, but no problems!

I am going to start selling these pleated skirts (panel and no panel). I’m just flipping around the price in my head. There is a lot of work, and a lot of fabric in each skirt. Plus the elastic for the waist and the hook/eye closure. I was thinking about having a base price of around $25. That would be for a simple solid colored skirt. The price would increase based on size (use of fabric and elastic) and type of fabric (print vs solid). I was thinking about having a somewhat “base” price for the printed pleated skirts right around $35. Some print fabrics though are beyond $10 a yard – and how much fabric I need depends on the size the end skirt will be.

I was finally smart though, I made little templates to use when making the pleats so it doesn’t take me very long at all to put the pleats in. I do them all and pin them, then I go back and double pin so I’m not losing any of them.

In the end though, I’m super thrilled over how it turned out in the end! I really can’t wait to wear it. ^_^

I’ve never been a skirt/dress kind of person, but lately I have been wearing them a lot more. I think it’s because I’m finally feeling a little more like home in my own body. I know that seems odd to hear, but blurring the gender lines is something I’ve enjoyed over the last year. And just because I embrace what society says a female should wear does no mean by any means that I think every female should wear those items. If you’re gender queer, go for it, you’re beautiful! Wear what you want, and don’t let anyone look down on you for doing it.

The next skirt I started work on is for a costume, a pirate costume. I admit, I’ve Pirate Skirtalways wanted a skirt like this anyways. ^_^ So it just means I’ll be getting a lot of use out of this skirt aside from dressing up like a pirate. It was also the first time I made a square circle skirt. Yes, I said square circle. It was super simple and easy. Though I always hem anything I make so it took longer then it should have. I think if I was doing it just out of t-shirt fabric then I wouldn’t hem it and it would only take me maybe 15 minutes to get it cut and sewn. I was going to originally do it just black, but I found enough red fabric. How could I not add a touch of my favorite color? haha.

As far as the rest of the pirate outfit, I’m pretty sure I’m just going to wear my corset as my top. I mean I haven’t ever had a reason to wear it. Considering the weather will be cooling down I may at least get some kind of shrug thrown together just in case. I guess my whole thing is, I don’t want to have to make a top if I have something I can wear.

I have yet to work out some kind of belt though. The only reason behind a belt is so I don’t have to carry a bag just to have my camera/phone. I made another belt pack, this one out of fake leather with a big (fake) pearl button on it. It’s larger enough for my camera, phone and anything else I may need. Now I just need something to wear so I can have it on me. I know the easy thing is to go through belts and just find one…well I have no belts that would fall under this type of costume. I could just do the old (easy) fabric belt. No sewing just cutting. Or I could take some of the fake leather I have left and make one.

I’m just torn on what would look better.

The last thing is my hat. My damn hat that has taken two weeks instead of two Hatdays. I’m still not sure if I like it or not. I’ve never made a hat before and I’m kind of doing it blind. But I just have to remember what I see isn’t what other people see. And I know the picture is bad lighting, I just didn’t want to move from my bed. Haha. It’s kind of hard to tell from the picture, because the hat looks kind of dead for some reason…but I did finish the front stitches on the hat today. All the stitching you see is just “cosmetic”. The back part of the hat is still pinned there, I have yet to be happy with how the back part of it looks to even try to stitch it at all. All of the work though on the hat is hand work. Which means sore little hands because of how much work it takes to get the needle through that stuff. It’s not as hard as real leather, but it’s hard enough for me to have to use pliers sometimes to get the needle pulled through.

Yeah and my wig needs a wash and brush.

Tomorrow I’m going to hopefully work a bit on this tiny painting I’ve been trying to get ideas for…for like three weeks. I think I finally have a solid idea. Since the canvas is tiny anyways I wasn’t going to do anything with detail. I do know I want to take the time to make sure I have a good solid background paint on it before I start painting the main image on it.

I still need to get pictures of a painting I touched up so I can put it in the album of things for sale. It’s just one of the bird paintings I did. I had no idea what was on the canvas but it wouldn’t come off, and what bit came off the rest of the painting was just faded for some reason. I repainted the bits that I screwed up while trying to clean it. From how it looks to me, I don’t think you can tell any of that happened.

I have a 4×5 canvas left too. No clue what I’m going to do with it, I just want to do something fun. Or try something new. I have been talking a lot about giving Pop Art a try. The only thing that really means is doing a lot of reading and looking at Pop Art. I like to know the history and everything about a type of art before I try it. I know about Pop Art, but I want to know more before I start playing with it.

Today I did get a surprise in the mail. What can I say, I don’t really get mail that much at all, so when I get mail it’s a surprise to me. I got a sample of Hemp Hearts. I’ve heard a lot of people liking Hemp Hearts and that it’s something good for you. I read the back of the sample and just with the small sample I received there’s 10g of protein in it. Which surprised me, but also got me thinking to check out what places around here sells Hemp Hearts so I can start adding them to my diet.

I’m back to not being able to sleep at night, or through the night. I thought maybe it was because the dog kept coming in and out all night so I shut my door. That didn’t help. I thought maybe I was getting too hot so I turned the fan on. That didn’t help. Ugh. I just want to sleep.

I didn’t take a nap today though so I’m hoping that will help a little.

Toady I woke up, I guess for the main reason of sending Jason a text…because I fell asleep right after I sent it.

That could come across as cute though, but I swear I was going to get out of bed after I sent it…I just never did because I was watching a new story. I never seen the end of the news story though because I fell asleep.

I just really hope to get this sleeping problem worked out soon. It usually takes me a while to get this problem fixed, which sucks since it happens every few months.

Another great weekend

The weekend is over, sadly. With that said, I hope everyone had a good one.

My weekend was pretty good.

Okay, saying it was good is a lie.

It was great.

Friday afternoon I went to the park (with my mom, step dad and niece) to feed the ducks. My niece and I were both bit by a duck…I guess he was wanting the bread we had super bad. No broken skin or anything. It was more funny then anything.

After that I went to Kohl’s to spent a $10 card. I ended up getting some of those plastic bracelets ($4), yoga shorts ($4) and two pairs of tights ($1.20 each). I bought the bracelets because I wear a few of the plastic ones and my niece is always taking them, so that’s why I got them so I could replace the ones she took and she can have some of her own. The yoga shorts were bought for the pure fact of not having shorts to sleep in, I refuse to wear shorts any other time. And since it is going to start turning cold soon the tights will come in handy. I bought a pair of pink ones and a pair of orange tights. I only had to pay out of pocket like 85 cents. ^_^ Score!

The rest of the day I watched some movies and ended up taking a nap.

Jason picked me up around 10:30/11 – can’t really remember. All I know for sure is that I was happy to see him. ^_^

There’s a stupid pothole as you leave my driveway. I know it’s there, but even knowing it I had my can of soda between my legs. When we hit the hole the soda went all over me. I guess the good thing is I have no problem changing in the car and I had an extra pair of pants with me.

I met some of his friends for the first time too, I’m still shy around new people though. I think that’s something that will never change though. I mean, that’s who I am.

We all went out for drinks at this tiny little place. Reminds me of the bar that’s next to The Mr. Roboto Project. Though while walking into the bar I did have some drunk guy yell at me “Hey shorty.”. Which…killed my mood for a little bit. I don’t like when people do that, really I don’t like when drunk people do that.

This bar does pour heavy. And nearing the end of the visit to the bar I was thinking they misunderstood Jason when he ordered a half a shot of rum in a coke. Considering the bottle half of the glass seemed to be nothing but rum, I think they put a shot and a half in. I didn’t finish the drink, for fear of getting drunk and making a fool of myself. It’s still too soon for me to do something stupid like that. I was right at tipsy though.

And well even when I’ve had a drink I’m still a sucker for holding hands.

The “chicken” sandwich we shared after getting to his place did help with soaking up the booze in my belly.

I made him watch Hellraiser – for the first time, can’t believe that. It had been a while since I seen Hellraiser too. But I think the cuddling made the movie better then it really is. I had missed his cuddling.

Saturday started with sushi for lunch. It was a new place for me, and good sushi. ^_^ I love the way he says something just to make me laugh or smile, I was doing a lot of both during lunch.

We ended up at the mall after that. The mall in Canton is seriously four times the size of the one we have around here. They don’t have any open storefronts like we do in our mall. Plus they have so many more stores in there it’s not even funny.

Oh and we went to that food store up there that I love going to, for the pure fact of being able to buy things there I can eat. I didn’t find what I was looking for but I did find some awesome animal crackers.

So over the past week I was working on this goofy mix CD. You know because I’m a girl, and sometimes I’m a 12 year old girl. It took me forever to get it done because I kept questioning the songs I had picked out. I did a lot of deleting and adding…and re-adding. I did finish it Friday afternoon. Though when he dropped me off at home I did take a minute to think about giving it to him. I mean…who gives mix cds any more. And it is kind of something kids do. But music speaks more then anything else (aside from art). I did give him to him and his reaction made me smile. At first I was just going to do a digital playlist and send it to him, but the problem with that was the fact that some of the songs are not online. Sometimes I’m lazy and don’t want to deal with uploading songs. So in the end the CD format won.

Lately the wifi hasn’t been connecting at all. So no more uploading to DeviantArt until I go to the coffee shop – which will be Friday. It bums me out a lot because I have been keeping up on uploading to my DA account. And a lot of my new photography was getting journal features like I used to.

Tomorrow I’m going to be fixing the background of this one painting. I don’t know what happened to it but it got dirty or something. I tried to wipe it off but that didn’t work. I’m also working on that 3inx3in canvas too. I have to get a nice solid background color, I’m just making sure the coats are totally dry before adding another. Adding a lot of wet on top of wet just means it takes forever to dry.

Talking about paintings…I finally hung up my Bluebird painting! I know it looks weird because there’s no frame, but I’m being super picky about the frame. Everything else hanging on my walls are black frames.

I’m still looking for a bank that doesn’t rape you with fees. Right now it’s the leading thing I’m trying to get worked out. Not only zero to little fees, but one that doesn’t take forever to get your ATM card to you.

I have been building up a little photo album on facebook with some items I have. Once I get the bank/paypal stuff worked out I will be looking toward getting a website, or at the least a subdomain on here. I do want to wait for domains to be on sale though if I’m going with that.

This week I’m going to bust ass to get the apron for Randi finished. She’s been waiting too long for it. I just hope she likes it. Once I do finish it I will be adding full aprons to the things people can order from me. I still have a couple crayon aprons to finish up too.

This week is just going to be an artsy crafty week for me. I can finish working on those aprons while the paint on the two canvas dry.

I also bought like half a yard of clear vinyl weeks ago…and have no clue what to do with it. 0_0

Well I hope everyone had a good weekend. I’m going to get a shower soon and get in bed. I slept until noon today, but I didn’t sleep through the night.

Here Comes The Weekend

For a minute there, I thought what was happening with everything was slowly putting me into a depression. It didn’t though. I was able to turn things around so I’m not heading to a depression. I mean…I have no reason to be depression for doing what I knew was right. ^_^

This week I’ve spent making a stupid hat. I say it’s stupid because I seriously got a headache from making it. The only hat I’ve ever made before is a mini top hat – which I thought was just completely easy to make and loved doing it. This new hat on the other hand is not mini and is made from some fake leather I had. I don’t have pictures of it yet because I took a little break from it. I have everything pinned and I just have to do the finishing touches to it. One night I spent three hours working on it – yes, no joke. Then the following day I put another two hours into it. After all that work I think it looks like it should…I hope. I’m not an expert on these types of hats and I’ve never even owned one before.

I know it’s a bit confusing since I’m not saying the type of hat or showing pictures, I think next week I’ll have some pictures of the finished project to post. ^_^

I also made myself another belt bag. I made that one out of cotton, and lately I’ve been using it to put my necklaces and bracelets in – it works so great when I’m not at home and want to take all of that off. It just keeps everything in one place so I’m not searching all over the place for something.

Well this new one I made is out of fake leather and has this big button on it. But it doesn’t button or snap. The flap just covers the top of it. What can I say, it’s easier that way so I can get to my camera without having to fight with a button or snap. ^_^ I haven’t tried it yet, but I like how it looks. I really made two, the first one was just too big for me to use. I guess the good thing is I can sell it or something.

I finally have my corset and I think it fits. I say I think it fits because I haven’t really had it laced like it should be. I’m going to put it on tomorrow night, and I hope it fits like it should. I was considering wearing it out tomorrow, but I don’t know. I do have a leopard print skirt I’ve never wore and…it would look great with that.

Since everyone will be at con this weekend, I have a weekend free with no one around…which kind of sucks. But last night I was asked what I’m doing tomorrow night, and considering the person who asked…it made everything totally better. I can’t wait for tomorrow night. It’s just been a long week, well and last weekend is still figuring into everything. I can’t wait for some cuddle time and just relaxing. I need it.

Next week I’m going to finish Randi’s apron. I would have it finished this weekend but I didn’t push to get it done because I knew I wouldn’t be able to get it to her – and I know it sucks knowing something is finished & yours but you can’t have it. Plus I’m really taking my time on it since this is the first full apron I’ve ever made. I have a bit of extra fabric, just in case I mess something up. But it’s a lot of fun. ^_^

I’ve also added a photo album on facebook that I’ll be adding to when I get things finished – it’s an album of the things I have for sale until I get something better worked out…which is that darn online store I’ve been talking about forever. It’s just taking me some time to get things worked out. Plus the whole bank thing has to wait because the cash I have now is for my cell phone next month.

I’m going to be posting the information for a few paintings I’m selling on facebook later tonight or tomorrow. I’m going to sell my large “superman” painting, it’s going to suck to see it go but it just doesn’t fit with everything else I have hanging up.

I do have painting commissions open. And I still need to get pictures from my friend…I have basically done every painting in her house.

This will be my last blog entry before the weekend so I hope everyone has a fun and safe weekend.

Movies and sewing

So last weekend there was the large sale at the fairgrounds. I go every year for the pure fact of not being sure what you’ll find. This year I didn’t really find much at all. I did get a cute little vintage suitcase – with going to cons I need something extra plus my skirts won’t fit in my train case.

I also picked up some clothes. I totally have nothing wrong with wearing second hand clothing. Most of the time the clothing is being put in the “get rid of” pile because it’s not “cool” any more. Well I never care about being cool.

I picked up a Hello Kitty skirt, a great little brown jacket, some random t-shirts…and a dress. Turns out the dress is from H&M. The dress is a babydoll style dress, black and white, with 3/4 length sleeves – it will be right around knee length on me. I honestly can’t wait to wear it because it’s going to be perfect to layer for the winter. ^_^

Finally, here’s a better picture of that painting I took a couple weeks to work on. I’m still looking for the perfect frame though. I think I’m being too picky. All the frames I have on my walls are black and I’d just really like to have it in a black frame. I guess since the new fad is bright colors I may have a hard time finding one.

Brave (2012)

Last night I finished watching Brave (2012) [LINK]. I started it Tuesday but wasn’t able to finish it. It was a pretty good movie, I’m just not a huge fan of  the “Princess” movies. But the good thing is, my niece finally sees a “princess” like her. She has a red tint to her hair and it’s super curly. Sometimes in pictures it doesn’t show up very well. A friend said I should make her Halloween costume the girl from the movie.

The Last Exorcism: Part II

I also finally watched The Last Exorcism: Part II (2013) [LINK]. I enjoyed it! If you only know one thing about me, it’s usually the fact that I like exorcism movies a great deal. When the first film came out, well leading up to the release, I was getting so excited over an exorcism film that looked good coming out. Don’t get me wrong there was been other exorcism films in the 2000s but for the most part, they didn’t hit the mark. The Last Exorcism is one of my favorites in general, and part II is as well. I did love the ending.

The other thing I’ve been working my way through is the TV show Wilfred [LINK]. The reason I started watching it is due to the fact Saturday night Jason and I watched a couple episodes – they were so funny. So when I got home I got season one and season two. Right now I’m half way finished with season two. And since season three is airing now it just gives me time to start on Workaholics [LINK]. I’ve seen a couple episodes, but they were mid-season- not sure what season. So I’m going to give it a try from the start. I have season one and two.

This is going to seem very odd, but what are some pig movies? I mean piggy pig, not cop pig. My niece is in love with pigs and I’ve been trying to find some movies with pigs. I already know Babe (1995) [LINK]. Also keep in mind she’s two, so anything longer then about an hour and 20 minutes and she’s out of the room.

I found myself a film that seems very interesting. It’s not a horror film like I normally watch though, surprise! It’s called About Cherry (2012) [LINK]. I’m hoping to be able to watch it sometime this week/weekend.

Yes, I’ve been spending a lot of time watching movies. But at the same time I’ve been getting things done!

I finished my petticoat, well it’s finished being sewn. I still have to play with the layers and cut them so they’re just right. Both skirts are totally finished. I have yet to even start on the tops. But my thought is to take my sewing machine with me to the craft event next weekend so I’ll have something to do so I’m not sitting there bored out of my mind for three days.

As far as things for the craft event, I’m about 50% finished on the aprons I’m making. Right now I’m just working on the gathered half apron styles. I am making a special crayon apron for my niece – I found farm animal fabric…there are pigs on it. All the other aprons are cut out and ironed. I’m to the point of sewing the pockets for the crayons. Which after I do that it should only take about 10 minutes more to finish them. The ones I’m going to make for boys are not going to be gathered, but they will end up to have less pockets on them.

A friend also ordered a full apron. This will be a first for me,  but it doesn’t seem very hard to do. She’s going to pay me for it Friday so I can pick the fabric up over the weekend. Tomorrow I’m going to take my lace to the coffee shop to at least let her pick the lace out. She wants a black apron with white lace. Which should be easy to do – but we’ll see.

Cookies is getting big. I’m not too sure how old he is though. I know, I’m a bad cat mommy. And I know this picture is fuzzy and such, but he’s a kitten…need I say more?

Con is only a few weeks away! Which is making me in the ‘holy shit’ mood. When it comes to outfits for con I only have one totally finished, but it’s been finished for months. I just want to have options.

Red Lolita Skirt

This is one skirt I have totally finished. It’s the skirt for a Lolita style maid outfit. I know the maid outfits are usually black and white…well red is my favorite color. Plus it’s good to be different!

Here’s the skirt with the apron. Both still need a good ironing. The apron was SO easy to do, and well I enjoyed making it. Once I had it cut out it only took around 45 minutes to finish it. I will be making another Lolita style outfit that needs an apron.

I still don’t have a top finished for the maid outfit. I have the base of the top cut out but that’s pretty much all I have done to it. I know I need to really get to work on the top since time is running out.

The other outfit I’m working on falls under Sweet Lolita. The skirt is white and yellow, three layers of fabric with bows all over the front of the skirt. I don’t even have a top cut out for this one.

For both outfits I’m doing a petticoat to wear under the skirts. I have it cut out and ready to sew together.

This is the other thing I’ve been working on. It’s not related to cosplay at all. These pictures are of it unfinished, I have yet to get some great pictures of it now that it’s finished.  The title of it is, Bluebird.

There’s the song I got the inspiration for the painting from. I love the song, and the band is pretty kick ass.

I’ve been working on another small painting for a friend. Last night I pretty much got all the major parts of it painting and now I just have the small details to touch up and finish.

As far as my activities of the weekend…

Friday night I was at the coffee shop, as usual. We ended up going to hookah, which I don’t do. I just go to hang out really. Well I was able to talk a friend into showing up at the hookah longue since he lives close to it. I have to say I enjoyed him being there. He’s such a sweet guy, and I enjoy being around him. One of the friends who was there made the remark that it was the first time he had ever heard me talk as much as I had been. ^_^

Saturday started with me at the coffee shop and ended with spending the night with that friend from the night before…a friend I have a huge crush on.

This week is going to be pretty much sewing a few crayon aprons and maybe a few other things. Plus having to finish things for con. Not looking forward to the week really because of all the things I know I have to finish. I have gotten in the habit of holding off on sewing until later – 6pm or later – because then I don’t have people getting in my way. It just works out better for everyone.
